Good morning again from sunny south Vancouver! I’m happy to tell you that we’ve been having a bit of rain this week, encouraging some beautiful flower growth.
There’s been lots happening this week, so let’s jump right in!
Art of the Week
The most important and momentous thing that happened this week is that I updated the Ohmworld webcomic for the first time in five years!
The comic I was working on had a long hiatus while I dealt with the mental health fallout of the aftermath of my last relationship (which is also how I found out that I needed to be treated for bipolar, which happily now I am on good meds for).
I picked up the comic where I left off-in the middle of our third story, Spanish Train Magic, wherein our protagonist, famous tech mage Abby Lovelace, finds herself on a moving train and has to investigate what’s moving it.
It’s on Tapas and Webtoon, I will provide the links in text form below so that you can paste them to your browser.

Aside from Ohmworld, I also did a bit of sketching!
And that’s it from me this week.
Spirituality of the Week
Hekate’s Deipnon was this week, and we also had the New Moon, so I did my usual monthly planning and ceremonies for that.
I also talked a little bit about the soul and ancestors, citing what I learned from Mat Auryn’s Psychic Witch:
I’m happy to tell you that my astrology studies are coming along nicely, too. I’ve got lots of stuff to write down (and not just spiritually speaking!), but I am getting somewhere. I’ve learned about the planets and planetoids considered in astrological readings and pretty soon I’ll be looking at the possible relationships these planets can have.
Now then, let’s get to your reading!
Reading of the Week
This week I’m going to break out the Greek Oracle coins again. These coins were hammered out by VultureCultureCanada on Etsy, and in my humble opinion, they’re quite beautiful.
Here’s what we got:
Phi (φ): Having Done Something Carelessly, You Will Thereafter Blame the Gods.
I think given that I’ve got this on the right side, it might be time to let go of shaking your fist at the universe and simply move on. You can curse the universe for stubbing your toe, but it’s appropriate to let the pain fade away and move on with life. And so on.
Zeta (Ζ): Flee the Very Great Storm, Lest You Be Disabled in Some Way.
This is a call to embody care taken to avoid serious harm and to be careful on your way. Not much more I can say here.
Kappa (Κ): To Fight with the Waves is Difficult, Endure, Friend.
I believe that this indicates some struggle even after the immediate danger has passed. So it can be with life. This is a humble reminder to fight the good fight, and stand up for yourself.
And now, a poem.
Fight the good fight
Blame not the cosmos
Fight the good fight
Avoid the teeth of the tiger
Fight the good fight
Struggle till you win
Conclusion
Thank you very much for joining me on this newsletter this week!
I hope you folks have a pleasantly challenging week ahead-not so little as to bore you, but not too overwhelming either.
