Art, Spirituality and a Reading for June 22!

Happy Sunday from cloud shrouded south Vancouver! Today we’re a couple days past the solstice, and lots of fun stuff happened this week!

For one thing, I broke out the cool starry umbrella again.

A lot happened this week, so let’s get right into it!

Art of the Week

I actually got the first draft of my Poisson Steve animation done this week! I’ll put a post together especially for paying subscribers, if you’d like to see that consider becoming one.

I also did various sketches at the cafe, partly studies but also partly character designs for another story I’d like to do.

The main thing I did for my art channel this week is preview some of the stuff I keep on Patreon:

I also talked briefly about my art plans for June and July.

More is coming, just need time.

Spirituality of the Week

I started with a protection prayer for the #Nokings protesters this week.

I also did a special ceremony with some friends that I’d rather not talk too much about to protect their privacy, but I can show off the celebratory sun I got on my arm!

Something I’ve been working on is some herb entries for my grimoire:

Last but not least, we got some strawberries from the garden; I offered a couple to Lord Hermes and Lady Hekate.

I also did semi regular meditations and other, less special offerings. I’m working on building up my knowledge so that I can be a better all around practitioner, though I don’t have quite as much time as I used to have, I’d like to think that I’m making the best of it.

Reading of the Week

This week I’d like to do another 3-card reading from the Celestial Tarot by Kay Steventon and Brian Clark, plus my astro dice. This might give a sense what to expect this week.

Astro Dice: Jupiter in Sagittarius. This will indicate your adventurous and philosophical spirit in travel, thought, and general direction.

Release: Eight of Cups (Cepheus). You may have felt that you had to sacrifice something dear to you to achieve happiness. Let it go. It’s time to release yourself of your burdens and enjoy your emotional release stress free.

Embody: Ten of Swords (Air). You have a great many ideas and now is the perfect time to bring them into fruition. Ten of Swords invites you to fully manifest your thoughts-get them recorded so that you can turn them into something you believe in.

Embrace: Nine of Cups (Andromeda). This card encourages you to embrace a future in which you’re free to pursue your ideas, and bring your dreams to life. It’s yours for the taking-you need only claim it.
